Digital or otherwise, "Art" is a manifestation of personality and/or desire: objectivity through subjectivity, marked down by subjectivity according to objectivity.
No matter the intent, idea, process or effort, people will always judge you based on their own humanity/morality (e.g. up bringing, national culture, religious/political view points, etc.).
If they don't like you or your art, FUCK THEM.

What matters most is how well you know yourself and how much you're willing to take a stand and continue to improve your skills.
The subject matter you like is totally for yourself; if others see it, watch it, and want more of it or perhaps want to mimic it, let them. You draw what you like because it helps you get to a higher plane with your art.
If people bully you over it, just remember that it's not up for political/philosophical debate. YOUR morality and humanity are for your family, close friends, best friends to worry, and for YOU to decide.
