I need to hire someone or something :( I only wanted to take $300 of orders but just the first few seconds' worth were $470.

I only make about two dicks per day, and I do put some on Etsy.

And I'm already hoarding fishies on etsy. :3

Agreeing with DamnAverage and skwidd_inc on this one; the boyfriend wanted to make an attempt but OBVIOUSLY it's near impossible to commission you at this rate.

What is a better way to do it? I can't make custom dongs if they're all going on Etsy, and this is only a hobby for me, not a job.

I'm not saying don't take custom commissions for new molds; I'm saying, maybe as opposed to taking orders... or in addition to taking orders, make some extras and put them on Etsy for the people who aren't fast enough to get on your list.

Also having a link to your Etsy available on your profile would be helpful; I can't seem to find it, despite having seen it before.

I never wanted to be popular like this :( The whole point of making dongs was to have fun and make friends. Now people are angry at me and it's not fun anymore.

Then, I'm going to have to say... you know the two options are to 1) stop taking commissions and just do premades, or 2) stop making dongs because if you keep taking commissions and a lot of people still can't get on your list, they're going to be upset. :c

It's a tough rope to balance on, but unfortunately in this case where there is such a demand, SOMEONE is going to be mad/upset.

I guess a third option would be to have openings where you only take orders from people who you've never had an order from before. But again, due to demand, a lot of people will STILL be left out and it'll still make people upset.

Actually. Another thought; only take one toy per order, and one order per person per opening. Would give more people the chance to get SOMETHING from you.

You could always try and have a list of people who want commissions, and then raffle them off like that. Or you could just take commissions based off of your personal choice. So hold a journal where people can post that they are interested and then you choose to contact them when you want :3

I had a poll about that a while back and people said they'd be angry if I raffled off commissions. I think I'm fucked either way

I apologize. My last post was worded horrifically. I am not frustrated at or with you or your process.

I'm very disappointed that people are getting angry with you for being so popular! As you said, you're only making dildos as a hobby, not for money or fame. Worst of all is that it's now stressing you out and causing you to lose your enjoyment in it. I would say to just ignore said individuals, but I'm sure it is harder than it seems to do so. Hope you're not getting hateful e-mails or anything of that sort.

Yeah losing interest in a hobby because of other people is one of the worst things ever. :c
