Well, its been raining for like 7 fucking days straight here. My roof is leaking- of course, water is dripping from the ceiling in the ONE ROOM I keep my valuables in!!! It was like this last year as well- about this time- all my new avocado trees died from the deluge of water. I hate this bullshit. But I guess I never really paid attention to it before- having a real house and all. I can't wait to pull this piece of shit down and have a real home again. Difference being- I have to build it with my own two hands THIS time. My back yard has about a 6 inch layer of water covering it right now, and that can't be good for my new trees. God, this sucks. I'm going to build the new place on an artificial hill to avoid this crap. I'm above it right now, but as soon as I step outside, I'm in it again.

I'm going to build my additions a LOT higher than the existing house…
My roof is shit. Its a pan metal roof, never really engineered for an actual living area, but that didn't keep the previous owners from building a bedroom beneath it!
I'm going to replace this "room" first- with a new timber frame room maybe next year. I'm building it with 2 stories in mind, but for now, the top floor will just be an "attic". after I pull the shitty trailer away, I'll add the second half (or not), and finish out the second floor. Can't wait to drive the bulldozer through this steaming pile…
