is there a way to upload photos that were taken on a phone that won't turn them on their side? On my computer they are up/down, because i take them that way, but on FA they flip them so the persons head is on one side and the feet on the other and you gotta either crank your neck or turn your monitor to see them :(

Maybe this might help. http://www.gimp.org/ Load the photos into this, flip them the right way, save, than upload them to FA. There's also a web site, http://www170.lunapic.com/editor/?action=rotate , which allows you to flip and rotate images using a web interface.

but they're turned the right way on my computer. its just the fa uploader who things they're flipped sideways...they're portraits, not landscape.

Try flipping the photos around and back. It could be a bad meta tag in the file. Another idea is to try converting it to a different format, which may drop meta data from the photo, and either upload the new format, or convert it back. Just keep in mind, loading, converting and reconverting jpegs will kill the picture quality, so avoid going more than maybe one generation or so.

they are ios photos, and have crappy quality to begin with. i will try your ideas tho.
