What can I say about Megaman X 6?

Seriously Capcom! What is this ($&*?! I mean I have played bad games by bad companys but your capcom. Okami, megaman x and many other classics we all love. But this? This is like that history exam that that one smart kid just didnt even study for because he has an A+ average and just fails the test. I mean holy hell! The boss fights are the easiest parts! Perhaps this is what led the Megaman ex series to end. after this one nobody trusted their games. Bad game design, damage is ridiculous, important stats you have to save to have a hope of feeling like you got a chance can be PERMANENTLY destroyed, not to mention invincible ghosts, instant death crushing, instant death spikes, instant death falls, instant death Tetris (ice level, no joke) and thats just the levels. the bosses are hard to beat if you dont take out the easy ones first. And people say Zero is the awesome one. I unlocked him. Yeah, not overpowered. In fact the only reason I would use him is to try to get to the upgrade tanks which are nearly impossible to get too without the right gear. I mean I played Megaman X to the point I memorized EVERYTHING in it. And if you missed some stuff in that they would give you it all at the after you beat all the bosses. Also the art is... Blech. The dialogue passe.
What can I say about this game that is positive?...
The let you continue a level indefinitely so there is a slight possibility you can beat it that one time.

FA+

The graphics were very great, the music was super god, and the character design was kinda the peak of the series. You got some points, certain bosses were incredibly easy, but some were impossibly hard.
Having played X5 adn X6 altogether within the same range of time, I got a bigger liking to 6 than I did to 5. The addition of the z-saber for X made him do interesting things he never did before, like destroying invincible foes, an dit also increased the amount of such, in order to give value to it.
The special weapons, and some of the enemy sprites, though, have their negative touches. Some bosses were just shit if you had the right weapons for them, and others, well, there's Infinity Mijinion...
I'm not in love with the story. I predicted literally everything the moment I saw the first cutscene. But again, it was almost similar to X5's...
I do know why most people would hate it, but for me, it's jumping the gun. I've had MANY people coplain they hated X6 because it was 'incomplete', because of japanese dubbing. Some people criticized it for reusing old graphics adn being unoriginal. Excuse me... X5 had REPLIFORCE enemies in it, and every level was themed after the ones in X4.
However you have to remember, Keiji had NOTHING to do with X6.
He wrote X5 as the end of the MegaMan and X series... it lead gracefully into Zero
Then it sold 1 million units and Capcom was like "We need more!"
Hey! I liked X7
*whimper*
In my opinion, there was little to like about X6. I mean, there WERE things, but not many. The nightmare effects in levels made them sorta interesting to go back into after going to another boss' stage first, and often made it either easier to traverse, or more challenging when things felt too easy. Also, Japanese voice acting, which was a nice touch. I think Zero's and Gate's voice actors were sexeh. Just sayin'... The Blade and Shadow armors, respectively, were also kinda cool. The ability to do a midair dash in four directions was a good throwback to X3's foot part, but modified to be a bit better, and as for Shadow Armor, well...fuggin' ninja X. Need I say more?
Those points being covered, I'm really not fond of X6. Hell, I like X5 better in comparison, even with the cookie cutter dinosaur boss (If you know what I mean, props to ya), and X7 less than either of the others. The line that is forever engrained into my mind is "Burn to the ground!". But yeah, bad games are bad, in my book.
And yet...despite this not being Capcom's only time making a Megaman game without Inafune, I am almost compelled to state that Megaman X: Command Mission was....actually good. It irks me in the most irksome way, but I do enjoy CM a lot. Fun concept, fun presentation, fun music and bosses, and the story wasn't...horrible. Redips, though. Srsly Capcom wft lol.
