Hydrokenisis mostly, just due to versatility. I mean, there's a lot of situations where controlling water comes in handy!

Other than that... transmutation magic, since it's hard to get stuff out in a desert and sometimes you have to adapt what you have on hand. Then there's that one spell I developed to make padding poof out >.>
