I will be attending for my third year in a row :) MFF is the best, a great first time con. it was my first, and i look forward to it every year. bring warm clothes, chicago gets cold. theres plenty that goes on at the convention that you can go to, and theres all sorts of stuff to do in the city if you feel like getting out of the con for a bit.

The food selection in the area is kinda limited but the inside of the con space is a great place to meet people.
As for what to do... hmmm I think its a good blend between room parties and social activities. The main lobby always seems to be full of people and from what I can tell there is always a party going on in someones room. :P
If you do get to go down I'd hope to at least get to say hi, and I hope you meet lots of friends and have a great time. ^w^

I go to MFF. It is the best con. It is the second biggest con of the world, but not too huge like AC. It has a friendly community feeling to it. Chicago is a very friendly city if you want to visit the sights there, but the con is in the suburb outside of the city so you don't have to go in the city if you don't want to. The food around Chicago is fantastic. The hotel where MFF is now is very nice hotel too :)

I would definitely say you should go, and I will give you a greeting if I see you there!

I went last year,it was quite the fun event,SO many friendly people,also it was my First Fur Con lol. Hope to see you there :D

I went to Midwest furfest and had fun. Lot of friendly people but I admit it is easy to go broke. Heh. And don't spend $3.00 for a tiny bottle of soda from the hotel vending machine.

I will be there! MFF is fun and I love the layout; i think the best thing is to have fun while you're there and if you have to be on a budge to keep track of your money! one of the things i do is keep my money separated into bags or rubber banded: room money, food money, emergency back up money, and spending money, etc.. that way i know everything is accounted for and can be paid for so im not fretting about funds while im there! I love just wandering around and getting to hang out with people whether they are new or old friends!

I would love to go, I just don't think I can make the money in time.

I'll be there because I live pretty close and can drive there from home each day, it'll be my first furcon.
