Runoffs Update

So you're interested, but can't make it all the way out to Laguna Seca? Have no fear... the actual races (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) will be streamed live online, complete with heavy-hitting celebrities calling the races (including the celebrated Randy Pobst).
The announcement says to head over to SpeedCastTV.com to watch. (It appears right now all they have are a few races on demand from last year).
Meanwhile, we've gotten our turn assignments! Barring any last minute changes, you can find me:
Monday: Turn 7 - the right-hand kink at the top of the back straight just before the left-hand turn into the corkscrew.
Tuesday: Turn 6 - A blind left down in a pocket at the start of the uphill back straight. If the car isn't balanced, the back end will try to pass you!
Wednesday: Turn 4A - A flat right-hand with a fast exit at the edge of the paddock. (I <3 tilt-shift photos!)
Thursday: Turn 9 - Downhill left-hander after the corkscrew, easily viewed from the campsites up on the hill.
Friday: Turn 11 - The slow left that leads onto the front straight.
Saturday: Turn 8A - The corkscrew proper, a right-hander that drops 60 feet
Sunday: Turn 5 - A tricky uphill left that can be taken faster than it looks due to compression forces
For those who need a better reference, here's a track map and a picture of the track in it's natural habitat. And if you want to virtually walk the track, you can do that too, thanks to Google Street View.
Fun fact: Noise restrictions are in place all non-race days. This is why Spec Racer Ford is the first group out on all qualifying days: they're quiet enough (relatively speaking) to not bust noise limits that early in the morning.
