Pumpkin
Just got back from Anime USA in Washington, DC.
So tired! But I had a lot of fun. Went to panels, bought neat stuff, ate (mostly) good food, and hung out with friends. A successful trip, as far as I'm concerned.
I just wanted to mention my favorite part of this con.
I got to wear my fursuit, Pumpkin the Halloween Husky, for the first time! Yay! ^^ There will be pictures, once I remind my friends to send them to me. It was so cool. Some people stopped me to take pictures. I got some high fives. My non-furry friends were very encouraging and accommodating. It was pretty hard to see, so two of my friends walked around me like bodyguards. X3
There were a lot more furries at the convention than I had expected. And a lot of folks who were not furries liked my suit, too.
It was a great experience. I can't wait to wear Pumpkin again on Halloween. :)
Ok, time to crash for a while.

and i can't wait to see pictures of her. and seeing it's your suit now. you can change the name and gender if you like. up to you seeing you own her or him now.
When did you do your suiting? I went Friday & Saturday, but I don't recall seeing a Husky. Although someone was wearing a very beautiful Persian suit that was a Non-Furry, but the craftsman work definitely looked like it was done by a Furry. Truth be told, Furries are always making Cons in the area, especially Anime Cons and even well-received.
If you didn't catch the Cosplay Masquerade, I'm sure you'll find these skits a little humorous: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SB7tVYiwx4Q

I was suiting in the evening on Saturday, 8 or 9 pm, I think. And then in the morning on Sunday, around 10. I didn't stay in my suit for long and only walked around the lobby area. I need to get used to how hot it gets. It's like a sauna. X3
Hey, by any chance, did you see a dark blue leopard? I got his picture, but not his name.
I missed the Cosplay Masquerade. Heheh, but I'll have to watch the rest of that video. Those skits were good. :)
Ah, no wonder I didn't see you. I was waiting upstairs for the Cosplay, which started a half-hour late, during that time period. To be honest, the Masquerade was scheduled much later than previous years.
Honestly, there were a few spots that you would have been good for residing in for getting cooled down. Like that sitting area before the Escalators. They kept that area so cool that I was sniffling. Unfortunately no, and that sounds like a cool suit. Maybe you should try using the search engine on FA to see if it might appear. I left immediately after the Masquerade so I could get home to watch Toonami.
Oh yeah, I did notice some cold spots throughout the hotel. Didn't think of that. :p
Yay, Toonami! I used to love Toonami. It's been a while since I could make myself stay up late enough to catch it. ^^; Dumb early work schedule.
