Though I do wonder how they're going to wrap up such a climactic fight that's had years of buildup and warp things up in just five chapters

It's an encapsulating term. But yeah if you wanna be specific, Shippuden it is.

Same thing really. Shippuden was basically a two year time leap in the story.

Honestly, that took much too long, especially the later chapters, it got a bit obnoxious with the multitude of bad guys popping all over.

Is Naruto finally getting married with Sasuke? I lost track of this when the war started.

I loved the story, felt it has been dragged out to death a little bit (Particularly with the anime filler episodes) with a few too many over powered bad guys. But now we are getting to what we all wanted to see. Naruto Vs Sasuke. HOW IS IT GOING TO END!

Enough plotwists already. The last few ones weren't as surprising, and more out of nothing. I am glad its over.

i've kept up with it this entire time, and it's a very appropriate ending time, and honestly since the war it's been pretty good, so i'm actually excited :3

agreeing with most everyone here - it ran on for a loooooooooooooooong time, although I'm curious on how it's going to be ended in only five chapters - the most recent volume I read looked like it still would have a couple volumes' worth before it would all come to a natural conclusion...
I am glad, though - things kept escalating for while, it's better off if it stops here before it gets even more ridiculous. @_@

Well, three things come to mind.

First, Naruto could've been sooo much better if Kishimoto had given more attention to the other important characters, and not wasted so much time on an over-extended war that took FOREEEEVER to finish...

Secondary, Naruto was still a pretty awesome manga, and despite all it's flaws, it was still a big part of my youth and current life. So, I'll be sad to see it go...

And Thirdly, WTF?! You mean to tell me that he's only giving 5 chapters to the Naruto / Sasuke fight? Really? After that huge war, we were all expecting to see the most epic battle in the manga ever being the rematch between Naruto and Sasuke!! It's...it's gonna be Talk no Jutsu, isn't it? Damn you Kishi!! *shakes fist angrily in the air*

There always has to have a ending, I am excited and a bit sad but I can't wait to read the conclusion<3
and it will be interesting to see what he makes next

Like Pokemon, to me it should have ended a long time ago.

I was fully expecting Guy to dynamic entry the moon and blow it up, just him screaming until he eventually reaches it. Was severely disappointed when it didn't happen.

Who knows, maybe the final few chapters will be longer than usual. I know some manga do that when they end.

That ending would've been better than half the stuffs that's happened in the great ninja war so far. XD

Too little too late. That whole shippuden part stunk as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad it ends with a Sasuke VS Naruto cos that's actual thing I cared about back when the manga was good and not focused on this overblown war against akatsuki/Obito/the mother of all chakra that I never gave a crap about.

Yea the mother of Chakra angle was really dumb. Especially her "It was me all along!" sudden appearance all Deus Ex Machina like.

True. But it's even worse because of what came prior.

First you had Pain going "ah-HA ! I'm the evil one !" but then Obito went "it was actually me all along !" but then Madara showed up and said "na-ha, it was me all along !" and then finally the mother of all chakra showed up and she was like "What do you know, it was in fact me all along !"

Okay let's be honest here. We're ALL trying to forget that's the sequence it's taken all these years. xD

It got ridiculous and it was even clear that the guy was just trying to stretch time. x3

About time. I feel like it's been drawn out for far too long. Good authors now how and when to properly end their stories. naruto has been ongoing for, what, about 10 years? shit's crazy.

I love Naruto, but the last few arcs have dragged on sooooo much, and pointlessly so. @~@

A small part of me is sad to see it go, but a huge part of me is screaming "FINALLY! A RELEASE FROM MY TORMENT!"

It's okay though, I still have the Hunter x Hunter manga to torture myself with. Especially since the Anime's ended. :< And the manga is kinda bleh by comparison. XD Com...parison... Parison... Pariston!? AAHH!!

1999 - 2014 Not a bad run. Im gonna miss ckecking into manga sites to find out what happens next with the manga I grew up with.

From what I've experienced with manga that I've been following ending(07-Ghost), I just get that "What now?" feeling afterward. My favorite series, Pandora Hearts, is coming to a close as well and I both like and dislike that.

ABOUT TIME

holy crap. I never really thought it was ending!!

And then the anime will get about 200+ more episodes because they'll put hundreds of fillers right between the manga's current part and the final fight.

I'm glad it's wrapping up, long runners tend to be a pain the longer they go and it probably would've been good to end it a few chapters back. I prefer my anime and mangas to be long but not too long, with Naruto qualifying as 'too long'.
