Mm so my car's check engine lights have been on for a few weeks now, and apparently whatever it is isn't a huge deal, but... My back brakes got so bad that they needed all kinds of repair and now I owe them $550 more than I already do, and I'm pretty pissed because I've been trying to mention my noisy brakes for awhile and they've always brushed it off with 'oh it's just the rain/change of weather' and now it's this bad.
Thanks a bunch. :T
I've been very very busy on really big art projects for Roundscape-Adorevia and that's taken up most of my time, alongside the art blocks I keep getting in and out of. I can't really take on a ton more comms because I already owe so many, so I'm trying to figure out a more manageable way to raise funds until I catch up. That being said, I should be posting more stuff soon, now that I'm done with that last project.
But yeah, should I do an auction? Probably YCH or something to that effect? Should I try adoptables, or be more serious about making art packs or something...? If I do an art pack it'll probably involve Ririn performing some kind of TF thing on probably a random victim. Or would it be better to auction something like that? Your character being Ririn's lab rat, Idk
I've also considered trying Patreon but I hear they take some of the money you earn and that it's easier to just set this thing up with PP but I'd have no idea how to actually organize that either so ??? ??????
What do you guys think? ;o;
Thanks a bunch. :T

I would just try to look at things that won't hugely impact what you owe at the moment, and set yourself up for what can be done after your current plate. If that makes sense, haha. Not trying to be rude, but I think you'd be less stressed as you chew through current things, rather than piling it all up and backlogging other projects. Easier said than done, of course.
If I did the art pack thing, I'd be working on it over the weekend as I do most of my personal art projects. It would take awhile for me to finish probably, if I make it really fancy and all that, or I'd just do it as a quick sketch pack and offer it for cheap to test the waters. Either way it probably wouldn't happen until near the end of the month, hahah.
I'll see if I can whip up some adoptables this weekend and if that doesn't work out, I'll try out the TF auction if it lands any more interest! Thank you much ♥
They had to replace my shoes, drums, hardware kit, AND cylinders so yeah...
Basically im saying even though you told them before. Had you insisted back then you would have had to replace all that stuff anyway because shops wont mess around when it comes to brakes.
*advice from the trashiest of all trash artists at keeping up with commissions* 8D;;
good luck with whatever you decide to do m'lady; you can do itttt!<33 car troubles are the most worst gggh
I haven't honestly been able to decide how I feel about patreon; sometimes it seems like a FANTASTIC idea but other times I feel really wary, not to mention I'm bad at arting consistently so... 8Ic Sticking to the usual and trying this comic thing is probably a better alternative, yeah! And it's kind of the same thing; give me the money and I'll do the thing, so thanks a ton!
ggguh patreon is. I dunno. I think it's a super cool idea, and I think it's amazing for supporting PROJECTS. like an ongoing comic is a project, or a game, or a cartoon, or something like that. I think using patreon just to support -you- as a person/artist just drawing things is counter intuitive for both the patrons AND the artist, but I dunnoo hhh. probably not the most popular opinion, I kinda feel like an ornery old man saying it hahah!
ANYWAY sorry fer ranting but yeyeye, anytime, hope it helps a lil! <33
?? ?????? I'M SURE I'LL FIGURE IT OUT
But okay yeah, that's exactly how I felt; I worried I'd be cheating people if I had any bad art blocks, but I don't want to charge per illustration either in case I have a good moment where I'm getting a TON OF STUFF DONE, so yeah. It makes more sense (and is probably less stressful) for it to be a project kinda thing, and I'll keep that in mind! I think you have a pretty solid opinion on it, honestly c:
From what i have seen so far YCHs can really rack up a huge sum quickly however you do need a certain popufurrity for that so theres always the chanfe that it may backfire and you just end up with another commission simply cuz you didnt manage hitting your fanbases sweet spot.... so theres a general risk at that.
I have no experience with art packs for all i know they got most people involving paypal get banned. So you would might have to do some research on how to make that work.
All in all i personally would almost recommend doing a ych cuz you seem to havea more or less tight fanbase.
