1. What is your name?
I am Ace Gambit, a changeling that works at the Open Book bookstore! ...okay yeah, that doesn't sound like a grand heroic title.

2. Do you know why you were named that?
I picked it out myself! I think it perfectly defines my knack for having luck at just the right moment.

3. Single or taken?
Single for now.

4. Have any abilities or powers?
I'm very good at impersonating other ponies. Like, actually taking their form. Unfortunately the folks I impersonate don't think it's funny and some of them get downright hostile. They have no sense of humor.

5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
I swear I was only covering for Twilight in the lunch line that ONE time!

6. What's your eye color?
A somewhat boring icy blue. Though I really could make it any color I want if I take a pony form.

7. How about hair color?
Usually purple. It matches my natural carapace fairly well.

8. Have you any family members?
Dozens of brothers and sisters from the hive. Really the hive is just one big family unit so you always have someone to hang out with. Unfortunately that also means everyone older than you scolds you like a parent.

9. Oh? How about pets?
Most domestic animals don't like me. Dogs are one of the few animals that can see through our disguises.

Birds of prey. You have not experienced pain until you've had a falcon attack you!

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
Reading stories and studying magic. Sometimes doing magic tricks for the kids that come by the bookstore.

Err, rarely, but it happens. We changelings need to feed on emotions and... well trust me, struggling only makes it hurt. You'll feet fine after a nap.

Egads no! I try to be careful and not overfeed on anyone.

Not an animal at all! We're actually part fey.

I have a hard time saying 'No' to folks and I tend to be a little too eager to help others.

My coworker Skeleton Key at the bookstore. She's a big, brave pegasus and everyone likes her. Key isn't afraid to say no to a customer.

I can't say I've ever been picky. I also can't say I've ever had a relationship to really know.

No, but I do a good bit of self-study on weekends.

I don't know. The whole concept of love is still confusing. Got to take baby steps.

Sure, if I impersonate someone famous. I have to be careful with that. Some celebrities have crazy fans.

Getting beaten up. Drowning.

I have a nice lavender tie that matches my mane.

The joy of a really close friendship. It doesn't get much sweeter than that. It's like... milk chocolate I think.

Definitely low. Key lets me sleep in the bookstore back room most nights since I can't afford my own place. Though most ponies in this town are apprehensive about me, so I doubt I could find a place anyway without a constant disguise.

Um, Key... I kind of know the mailmare.

28. What are your thoughts on pie?
Pie is pretty tasty. Especially apple or peach pie. Very sweet.

Coffee, for those long overnight study benders.

Bookstores and libraries.... Oh, I do like to visit a good museum. Those are fun.

There are a few frequent customers I'd like to be friends with. Does that count?

I hate swimming. Wet wings make flying especially difficult. I'm not a good swimmer either.
