Apparently, there was a furry con in town last weekend:

I had no idea; didn't make any of the media that I could see. Even funnier, the hotel where the con was is less than 20 minutes north of where we live. In fact, it's at the same hotel my company uses to hold its company-wide quarterly meetings!

Not that it really would have mattered. I was already booked last weekend. Friday I had to get ready for a train show I had on Saturday, and I had a car show with Betty on Sunday. Haveta keep an eye out for next year...
