Facebook Community Standards?

I just reported a violent torture video I found earlier on my wall, and apparently it doesn't violate Facebook's "community standards". So it's not going to be taken off despite all the overwhelming criticism the video received. Ha, so now kids and sensitive members of the community can continue to be exposed to the nature of human brutality on a supposedly "friendly and safe" website. Well, I've lodged a complaint and gave a lecture on moral ethical standards in the media and why things like this are unacceptable. I'm quite frankly disgusted, utterly disgusted. Community standards? Facebook, you disappoint me.
I understand that in certain circles, the content of my gallery would be deemed unacceptable. However, it's all fantasy, no one gets harmed and I'm assuming people who visit my page are aware of that. But exposing mainstream social media users to "real" violent footage is another matter.

Facebook don't care about community standards, they care about what's going to bring in the biggest ad revenue.
