i shouldnt really say RIP acer, just the toshiba hard drive..

I can still run linux mint but i'd really rather have windows,

until i get another hard drive, i'm stuck without making music

Ugh, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. It's the data that's most important.
If I lost my hard drive, as long as my important data was preserved, it'd be fine.
