Yeah, I have seen too many YouTube videos of police officers going overboard and abusing the power that they have.

I was thinking for a few years that the cops are corrupt, and this just confirms it. Maybe they just forgot what or what law NOT to break. Maybe they also are just trying to harass you. It's good that you wrote the airport because stuff like this needs to be looked into. As far as I know, airplanes are not private property... they are for the public. If they still have an issue with this, then we should all tear out our eyeballs from our head if we are not allowed to see airplanes that are SUPPOSED to be open for public viewing, let alone taking photos of airplanes for airport/airplane enthusiasts like you and all of us.

Yes, they are looking out for terrorists, but hell, if you were taking pictures of airplanes for quite a few years now, the police department shouldn't harass you now. Sounds all bullshit to me if you ask me.

In the UK there is one local police force who actually encouraged plane spotting, because they were extra eyes/ears to look out for suspicious activity.
However, the US police just frighten me because they are all running around with guns.
