Hey people who read this XD

I just wanted to say that I had an amazing time at the Yap and Draw. When I was on the way there I was extremely nervous, even though I had Amran and Lightstep with me. That really helped me out though. But... I went in feeling really nervous and came out with a couple of new friends which is completely awesome.

I'm usually not very outgoing at first but everyone was really nice. The badge that Lightstep made me really helped out too. And even though I'm not used to being called Dhani in person, it was awesome too :3 I just felt like I could be myself, which is rare for me.

It put a lot of things in perspective about the fandom. Sure, there's the creeps online who ask to see my tits and want to date me after one IM conversation but then there's the others who are legitimately open, caring and want to share their little bit of the fandom with you. After 7 years of vowing not to get involved in the IRL part of the furry fandom because of past horrible experiences with it, I've finally decided to take my first tentative steps into it. I could end up making some really good friends and finally have a chance to stretch my legs.

So, I just wanted to thank Raptor Red for inviting me and also the new friends I made for being willing to talk to the shy jackal sitting in the corner with a sketchbook. <3
