Well, I think if anyone reads the news, you may of heard that Australia is in Flames near Melbourne. It started on Saturday afternoon and is still raging, climbing its way north. The sad and most horrific thing is, is that over 200 people have perished. Our last fire, Ash Wednesday, which was the most devastating fire, and due for its anniversary on the 25th, had only claimed 75 people. This one has really gotten out of control. Whats worse is that the fires were likely to have been deliberately lit. And the PM is even saying that who ever is responsible has pretty much committed a mass murder... seriously, who would start a fire? just to cause havoc and panic, claim lives and destroy hundreds of homes, and cause millions of dollars of damage? who gets a kick out of that??? There was one guy who lit one earlier in the week just so his volunteer fire fighter group could go fight it. *sigh* It has been more then 2 weeks of 'extreme' temperatures aswell... until today, 20 degrees cooler than yesterday!

Yesterday afternoon the smoke from the fires reached here, about 500KM away! The smoke stayed for most of today aswell... until, it suddenly rained. I sure hope Victoria got some of it, to relief the fire at least a little >.>

What worries me is that i know quite alot of furs who live in Melbourne, and i hope no one was affected by it....

ANYWHO... enough sad stuff.. the smoke must be getting to me >.> *cough*

I WILL get something artsie submitted this week! This is my goal! Hopefully even two! If i can do that than, i might be able to get back into more pictures more often! ^-^ I have a few other projects I've done that i might submit if i remember to take photos XD
