I got the buckram as a part of a larger fabric order, otherwise the shipping would've been more expensive than the fabric itself :T Wouldn't recommend fabric.com for just buying buckram on its own

I have heard Fabricland sells it but I have not looked at their stuff yet.

It's Fabricville over here (lol Quebec, we're speshul snowflakes) but no, sadly they do not carry the kind makers use for eyes :(

I got mine from Fabricland but it's the thicker type of buckram. So yeah not of much help. :c

Ive found a finer black plastic window mesh in 2 layers (one rotated 45 deg) has done the trick. The good fabroc store thats only east coast, only goes cross eyed when I name buckram. XD

Someone else suggested that to me, but I'm worried the paint may peel off! What's that like in your experience?

Acrylic seems to stick very nicely to the stuff Ive used.

I can help and search around. There's a site called fursuitsupplies.com. They have buckram for $1.49 for a 12"x12" sheet.

Not sure if this will help in the future but I've had success with finding it called cheesecloth rather than buckram o.O it feels and sees like buckram should but it's kept with other thicknesses of cheescloth.
