he was, but he has his own game series, Waluigi needs to be extended to a series outside of the Mario Sports games have a chance to be a smasher XP

My guess for them is to promote the 8-player mode in Smash since you can play as every single one.

Waluigi's reasons still will be questioned no doubt about that. Most likely he may need to get his own game at some point outside of the sports titles to gain some recognition cause all he is now is a shadow to Luigi and Wario
