After hours of breakdowns, husband not really caring about my mental state through all this and just- remaking brushes over and over and saving the setting and screenshots anywhere I can, I think I've finally got the new SAI to save my swatches and brushes and it isn't crashing anymore.
I'll be spending the next few hours and tomorrow using the brushes and trying my best to get them the way I want them, I still can't believe this happened and am really hoping I can just fix everything and get back to drawing and working.
This also goes to show me how little the people around me care about my breakdowns and how important my tools are.

Seriously, there are dozens of people here who have sai and are willing to help. i sadly am not one of them as I don't know much about Sai.
Only problem I have now is that I can't default .sai files with their actual program because- for some reason I just can't. I can pic SAI.exe as the default program but it doesn't show up in the list window and isn't the program that opens as the default, something about the registry for the program on my PC. I don't know. Hoping I can figure that out as well since all my .sai file thumbnails don't even look like the SAI logo anymore.
