SOOOooooooooo.... I was riding my bike to work today due to the fact that my car was totaled on saturday evening as it was sitting PARKED outside my house, and I get about 2 blocks from my house and I get hit by a car. O_O I was at the intersection, and I waited till the light turned green and the walk light pops up and so I proceed forward...I get about 3 feet into the intersection and the vehicle that is stopped there is turning right. of course it is legal to turn right on red if it is clear, BUT IT DOESN"T MEAN PROCEED IF SOMEONE IS IN THE CROSSWALK. SHEESH!!!
So the lady hits me and I flop up onto the hood and dent the shit out of it, and all I can do is look right into the windshiled and say "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU??"

and i wouldn't jynx that lightning theory...a kid a couple of years back in Pampa was struck by lighting while he was under a tree...and the clouds were clear that day(true story)

If she hit you on a red light while you were on the crosswalk, you as the pedestrian have the right of way, end of discussion. Ain't no way the judge will go, "Yeah! Definitely in the fault of the pedestrian. He should've gotten out of the way faster!"

I don't know what it is, if people have always been this way or if it's something in the food or water...
