I need advice on taking commissions.

Hello all.
So, as of late I have been contemplating whether or not to start taking commissions. I believe I have reached a level in my art to where I could actually make (somewhat) of a living from my drawings (or at the very least some extra cash). However, therein lies a dilemma.
I’m not sure how to go about really exposing my work further. I have created journals on both DA and FA stating my prices, will/won’ts, and other TOS jazz that may pertain to the contractual agreement(s) at hand. No response. Of course, my initial response was to blame the few users that actually look at my art and scream “Will draw for money!” but quickly had to reevaluate that approach and look inward to see what I was doing wrong.
So, with that I ask, is there anything that anyone could recommend that I could/should/must improve in order to increase my exposure? I will take any and all forms of advise and criticism, including, and not limited to, "draw more, lazy!", "what the hell is this crap?", and whatever else that may come to mind.
Thanks in advance. =3

FA+

When you set your price don't over shoot it. You want to be low enough(remember:this is about extra cash and improving your skills) that it will attract people that would otherwise say 'na. that is not my style' instead you want them to say 'I think that is a fair price for that.' then they will come back and as you get better you can slightly increase the price(You will always get flack for this but if you are getting better you are getting better) then the nay sayers will be your best supporters. Eventually you can start doing specials and sales.
You are at a good point with watchers and I think your art is nice. Never stop practicing.
Good luck,
Zanatsu
