...Google Inbox? ó.o Like, Gmail?

Nevermind, I see, something new Google is doing, uh, haven't received an invite myself, and I'm still grandfathered on their Drive/Site systems.

Yeah "inbox" is new. it looks pretty cool and handy.
I applied for an invite from them a little while ago but I thought it worth asking around as they've just started letting current users give invites :)

...I don't really see the appeal, it seems to be a combination of a personalized Google+, Alarm and Calendar. ó.o

It's the combination of all those and the close Google Now functionality that's interesting. and the ability to use emails as a kind of todo list is very appealing.
I use email a LOT for adhoc scheduling and for keeping my business running and all that stuff.

each to their own. I find most of their stuff really useful

I rather like G+ as a social media platform but their push for it was kinda tedious. Integrating their other services in a single user profile made a lot fo sense though. Either way, I find their services to be consistently more useful than anything else; which is my priority.

Figured I should toss this out there as well, that was my last invite so no more from me to anyone possibly seeing this journal

They didn't choose a very good name. I just assumed I already had one. I requested an invitation. Since I've been a loyal google user (I even use google voice), they might give me one.
