Wacom Tablet Problems x_x

General
So I've been using my tablet for close to two years happily with absolutely no problems until just an hour ago.
I hooked my tablet up to my laptop like I always do to finish homework and possibly finish one of my final two commissions. Buuuuut.... I find out only the mouse is working. The pen moves the cursor on screen but I can't click on anything. As I stated, only the mouse works perfectly at the moment, I've searched the internet and tried a few fixes including reinstalling the latest drivers for my tablets all to no avail. So I'm turning to any artists who happen to be watching me and maybe know how to fix this. Help please?
Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

I had mine for 3 years and its still working, its a little laggy cause the battery is dying but its an easy fix.
I dont know how it would work for a wide screen, cause I dont have a wide screen but its a 6x8 so its got a bigger work space then yours
1) install drivers, and restart while the pen's laying on the tablet after said installation
2) Completely uninstall the tablet then try a fresh install
3) (here come the expensive options) Find a new pen/stylus nib
4) if new pen/nib don't work... and it's compatible... you need a new tablet x.x
