Halloween ups and oops

Well, the day started out good, making some great treats for Halloween, get together an outfit to wear, continue my other pumpkin carve.
But, it took one simple move I do all the time, been doing pumpkin carves for years and I cut myself really bad on my thumb. Not enough for stiches. It was just really a bloody 1 inch cut, and really fucking hurts.
It was bad enough for Jim to come home and help me since, we didn't have any medical items around. I love my hubby so much, very sweet tough love.
Its taken care of, disinfected it (almost cried that it hurt so bad) its wrapped up and took pain meds.
Still hurts, but this will not ruin my favorite holiday. Bring it on!!
The rest of the night was great, good laughs, cute trick or treaters, watched Tucker and Dale vs Evil (funny as hell movie) ate a good home made meal, meat loaf with mac and cheese. Pain every now and then, but still had fun.
