I'm not that big of a Dr. Who fan. I tend to be critical of the show.

I've seen literally only one episode (well, technically season) each of Doctors 1 and 2.

I think they just have the anniversary episodes (first doctor had the tomb of the cybermen episode?), I recommend seeing if any dvd lending libraries are out there, also amazon has an excellent collectionfor sale of the only episodes recovered such as

Just search for "doctor who dvd" as vhs copies would be insanely expensive these days and look around other sites to see what you come up with. Its a great thing to ask for for christmas!

mmhmm, which is what these dvds would help. I hate that over half of the episodes have disappeared in that retaping fiasco the bbc went through. I also recommend getting the old radio plays/audiobooks off audible.com or itunes as they can give some great references and helpful backgrounds. I do think that things really flesh out partway through the second';s reign of doctor, but by the time of the three doctor's special its right on the money

oh, gods, the Three Doctors was my all-time fave episode/season! XD that whole thing with Omega was awesome.

Me too, but they did that a lot with shows back then. my granddad was always complaining that shows moved too fast these days. He said you used to be able to slow down and enjoy the acting and scenes in a show over a couple weeks. He also said that I Love Lucy was the exception. I havent seen the five doctors thing yet, but I hear its hilarious as well!

I hope to see more of the Classic series when I find the time. but first I have to geek out over Gilmore Girls. =w=

oh. :( I'm sorry to her that. it's pretty cheap, and totally worth it. I think it's like 7 dollars a mnth or a week or something? real cheap. and you cn get like 4 or 5 different profiles under one account.

trueeee, but when you live on a budget, that can get kinda pricy. a year of netflix it ish about an entire month's fun monies for me!
