Story Idea - watcher input needed!

Hi peoplez!
I've been toying around with the idea of writing something along the lines of a competition including various members of FA fursonas. It would mostly consist of single-elimination rounds of about a dozen or less characters. I think I have some good scenarios in mind and can include different influences and TF types based on user input.
It would be a good read and a good way for FA members to socialize a bit and even get to meet new people!
Problem is, I don't want to start something like this without the necessary support. It'd be a shame if only a few people signed up, so I was wondering what the general opinion of my followers would be. Would you join in the TF competition against fellow FA users? Or do you think it's a bad idea in general.

Well you wouldn't REALLY need a fursona. You would just need a character, whether it be anthro or human. If this catches enough interest and I do go through with it, I would definitely whip up some character sheets and all to make life easier.

Not quite what I was aiming for. Do we have to do writing, art... what are we likely to need to do as a result of signing up? I'd like to join, but I'm worried it might be too much for me to keep up with.
