Yeah, it's my birthday. It's somewhat bittersweet, considering the issues we've had at home. Although I requested off, my manager asked if I would come into work (I said I wouldn't) Mom had Librawulf get some assorted cakes, and I had German chocolate (yes!) and vanilla with chocolate chip ice cream. My dad even remembered to call me! Everyone was in total shock, and I nearly cried... Mom is holding off on getting any gifts until we have the money, but as they say, "Good things come to those who wait."
