Print on cardstock or adhere to cardstock and laminate with 10mil if possible. Dont cut to the paper, cut around the airpocket you'll see form around the badge, you dont want to pierce that airbubble or it could come apart. You can leave a quarter inch bit of laminate at the top to cut/ hole punch for the badge clip!

A ten mil laminator is hard to find. You can get a good 7 mil laminator at Sam's club for about $99. I always use 80# cover stock to print on. Wanderlust is right about the rest.

I paid $20 for my scotch laminater at Walmart and it works pretty well

High poundage cardstock and thick laminate. Need a good laminator to handle that thick. Add a rivet to the hole punch to make it stronger still and impossible to slip of the lanyard.

What I do is I double laminate mine, it makes it a bit more thick. :3
