Why is it not very practical? It's better than an art cd, which is, lets be honest, trying to squeeze money for something which can be easily sent around in a zip file or on a usb key.

Physical media looks nice, feels nice and is generally better to earn with. The person buying it has an actual 'something'.

Why not just give people a download link in exchange for some money? Same thing. CDs are easily scratched.

This is a time when people are going to have less and less money to spend. And if it comes down to say, buying some prints where they have something to say, put on a wall, or a CD of images to look at on a computer..

I know where the money will go.

at cons? im pretty sure people would have more money, but its an idea worth considering none the less
