An Announcement from Indyfurcon.
We at Indyfurcon are sad to announce that Roxas, iFC 2013 & 2014 chairman, and Board of Directors member since its inception in 2010, has voluntarily stepped down from his position as Chairman of Indyfurcon for the 2014/2015 year.
After a year of battling cancer, his mother has just recently passed away, and he has, understandably, opted to concentrate on taking time to focus on family and other matters at this time. We here at the Indyfurcon family send our thoughts and prayers to him and his family at this time.
Effective immediately, and at Roxas' nomination, the staff and board have opted to elect Paul "Pandez Panda" Crozier as Chairman elect for the remainder of the 2015 con year.
"My thoughts, obviously, are with Roxas and his family at this time. It will not be easy filling this role. Tora Nightprowler started this convention from scratch. Roxas Panda came in and revamped the organization and how it ran in so many ways, and took it to a whole other level. I promise to do my best in this role for the remainder of this convention year and hope I can live up to the standards that have come before me. I know we have an amazing crew and if they have as much faith in me as I have in them, 2015 will be an outstanding year for Indyfurcon." Pandez
