FA Auto-Resize

I loathe it with a passion, I really wish we could just upload the full-res imagery without having to resubmit the file every time x.x... It was fine before, but the whole 'wait an hour' thing is incredibly annoying DX!
FA+

Sure, the best solution would be just resized previews... though i don't know how simple that'd be to implement.
It really is just a minor inconvenience though; it just makes the whole process of making images in hi-res feel rather pointless, at least if you're solely posting stuff here. The problem with resizing too is that a lot of details that artist like myself work hard to incorporate into our larger images end up getting botched when they're shrunken down to half the original size, and I believe I've heard people complain about overall quality being affected before too.
That is actually a way better solution in my opinion, because it would serve two purposes. On the one hand you get to show people the full fine and on the other hand you always have a backup of the finished images if you use a service like Dropbox, Box or Google Drive :3
Also, I am a photographer. My camera spits out 16mp files, 4928x3264. I don't want to make people download a 10mb image file O_O Instead I shrink and resharpen my files in Photoshop. And again, I am perfectly happy with that resolution: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/14899111/
I only replaced the FA version with a bigger file when I uploaded very wide panoramas or something like that.
Then there's also the issue where I typically tend to make 1920x1080 wallpapers of whatever high-quality image I upload, and having to upload that to FA, then re-upload that same file somewhere else with a provided link just adds to the frustration. As I said in the above response to JC75, it's really just a minor inconvenience for the most part, but it seems like that this should be a rather irrelevant issue by this day and age where every other art-dump site I visit has some alternative method to downloading/viewing the image in it's full form without having to resort to third-party sites again and again.
Plus most of my artwork never really exceeds 3-5MB in file size when it's displayed in full-resolution compared to photography which can typically be a lot higher.
I could understand if FA resized the images in order to reduce system load or some such, but the fact you're able to circumvent this by simply re-uploading the image renders it rather utterly pointless to begin with, along with it's flood protection (Which I can understand a lot more, because I remember visiting FA and having the entire recent submissions category being flooded with furcon photos daily.)
But then there's still the issue of having to make people open up new link, yeah.
1280 x 1280 may have been somewhat spacious 10 years ago, but not now..
