Looks Like i'm going to have to open commissions a bit earlier than planned. I didn't get to drawing the free headshot/chibis and such that i promised you guys, if you remember. I needed those for commission examples, but I WILL get to them, I promise! I just need to open commissions earlier than expected uwu.

My family is planning on moving out of this shit hole we have been living in for the past 14 years or so. The landlord does nothing and something is CONSTANTLY broken. He just half asses it when he fixes it too. This house would probably be condemned if we called an inspector. We had enough and are finally moving out, but my family needs my help to pay for the expenses!

Also a few moments ago my oldest cat came in with a nasty looking leg. It looks like road rash and its very swollen. He is still using his leg so that is good, but That is another fee coming out of my pocket. This one will cost me hundreds of dollars at the vet.

So between the moving and the vet bills i'm going to open my commissions! Note that I DID raise my prices quit significantly compared to the past. Please respect my decisions.

Why are these so expensive all of a sudden?
While expanding my art to other websites I realized that deviant art is usually very cheaply priced compared to other websites. I see so many people selling themselves short and I find people on here complaining about stuff that is over $10 and when I spend 10 HOURS on 1 drawing, $10 is not going to cut it. This is my only job besides babysitting and I'm not going to waste my time for $1 or less an hour. If you can't afford the luxury of art, I'm sorry. I'm making my prices more fair for me and my time. These prices are roughly MINIMUM WAGE for the hours I put in.

Pft I bet you are just going to jack them up even higher soon...
I'm a bit nervous about having them this high in the first place. I have been struggling with feeling like i'm selling myself very short for years now. I honestly wouldn't even have them this high if people didn't actually buy my stuff for these prices in the past via auctions and such. These prices aren't targeted for people of deviantart, they are more for the people outside of deviantart who pay closer to min wage for art. I do not plan on making them any higher any time soon. The only price I may change is the full background price as I improve in that area.
