Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a Prequel

OOC: I just finished night six, and here is my evidence that the game is a prequel. AND HERE'S WHY (all of my evidence taken from the FNAF Wiki, as well as my own speculation)
In the original Five Nights at Freddys Phone Guy mentions that the restaurant closed down because of "The Bite of '87." In Five Nights at Freddy's 2 the check that you get on the 5th night is dated "11/12/1987" and on the 6th night Phone Guy says that the restaurant will be closing down for a while because one of the employees got into a spare, yellow-colored suit in the back.(he also sounds down right panicked because of it and won't say what it was used for-so one can assume is was to murder the children )) I will post a screenshot of the minigame which proves this.
In FNAF1, Phone Guy mentions that he had the night shift before our character and was leaving pre-recorded messages for us (presumably while he was working, because the animatronics kill him in night 4). --> In FNAF2, the last thing Phone Guy says in the call on night 6 is that he will be taking up the night shift when the restaurant re-opens.
---
Now these are pretty compelling argument, but I keep seeing people rebuttal with "But how can it be a prequel with Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy are in the game, but highly deteriorated?"
The reason this is possible is because NONE of the animatronics from FNAF2 appear in FNAF1. Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Freddy in FNAF1 are all new suits created when the pizzeria was re-opened. As you can see in the storage room in FNAF1, there are lots of extra heads on the shelves, which means that lots of these robots have been created.
Not to mention the news paper blurb you see when you beat night six and collect your overtime check that reads:
"After being open a few short weeks Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is closing it's doors. The new animatronics will be scrapped due to possible malfunctions, however the old characters are being kept in the hopes of possible reorganization of the company. It is a minor setback but we hope to reopen someday with a smaller budget" -CEO Fazbear Entertainment

on night five when you listen to the call Phone guy says "We're going to try to contact the original owner..uh,I think the name of the place was Fredbear's Family Diner? Or something like that. It's been closed for years though, I doubt we'll be able to track anybody down.."
If the "Original cast" of animatronics from the game came from the previous restaurant, and it's been closed for years that would explain why they are in such poor shape-along with their "smell" as phone gut mentioned (they probably smell like mildew which is pretty gross)

There, evidence that it is indeed a prequel. It has been said the Scott did indeed confirm that is is a prequel but I will not confirm this until I find a screenshot or a youtube video that says otherwise.

So why are the original characters in the second game in such rough shape?on night five when you listen to the call Phone guy says "We're going to try to contact the original owner..uh,I think the name of the place was Fredbear's Family Diner? FA+

It starts with such "Look, it's the NEW place! No doors or power failures"
And then slooowly tells you "oh, that? Well, that might be a pattern of shitty restaurants".
I will say, though, they never quite fixed those wires hanging everywhere.
and then as the game progressed I slowly changed by thoughts to "I see what you did thar Scott"
I beleive the wires have something to do with how the marionette gets around the restaurant- it's not confirmed but that's just my theory
