I love this fandom. Sure, there may be a bit more drama than I like (and I may have become the topic of some), but I've found a wonderful group of people that share a common interest and care about one another. In fact, furries are so friendly that people hug upon introductions, similar to when people outside the fandom simply shake hands. This was the case with several people I met yesterday at PacAnthro. They were all super-kind, and very willing to meet others, whereas when I was in school, people would tend to stick to their own groups of friends and not try to meet anyone new. This fandom has helped me develop so much socially, and continues to do so, and for that I am extremely grateful. It's come to the point where most of my closest friends are furries (you know who you are).
