"Original" Characters (Rant)

Alright so.. I understand not everyones character is original... hell Damian is a blonde pom :v nothing special, Aspen is damn near a clone of 
Pinkushika who by the way, isn't a whore D:<
But, on the front page, in my submissions box, I see characters that I mistake for "popufurs" and it drives me nuts LOL
Like, your character looks exactly like someone elses, same colour scheme, similar markings. Like can you please, for the love of god, come up with something, and not base 95% off of someone elses OC. kthx.
