Opinion essays suck!

So in French class, we're studying opinion essays where we have to write about what we think about a topic. What we're discussing some raise in water taxes in Ireland and supposed to write around 90 words on the topic. I would do that... If I actually knew what the hell I was even talking about! This is why it sucks when you don't keep up with current events.
It's a cheap way out but it could work.
Its just awful advice that would make you fail.
Went to college and graduated. All you need to do is lots of research. Internet access to finding this data should be a lot easier now. Also you can always ask furries who might live in that area who can give you experience on that topic. You can also pretend the topic offends you personally that way you can have passionate writing about it.
of course, if you don't even know what's going on...it can be hard to BS it lol
