Børkday

First, there was Barfday. Then there was Burpday, followed by Borpday. Today, it's my Børkday.
Why? Because børk børk børk!
I am now the atomic mass of silicon.
*poofs!*

Actually, that won't happen until about a month after your birthday. Per Wikipedia, atomic mass of Si is 28.0855 ± 0.0003; the fractional part works out to about 31.1 or 31.2 days.

Stating one's age that way is interesting. I am somewhere past potassium (old molecule is old). Not too many people make it to ruthenium. The oldest person ever was between antimony and tellurium, and the oldest person alive right now is between indium and tin.
If you went by atomic number instead of atomic mass, it kind of implies that you fall apart briefly for one year at Technetium (43), and then always fall apart every year at Polonium (84) and after. It takes a lot of fancy science to get to Einsteinium (99) and later. Sort of like real life! :)
Estas sooon las mañaniitas que cantaaaba el rey Daviiiiid!

There, a Mexican birthday song. Seems original enough.
