Computer User's Maxim 01: A.B.S.U. - Always Back Stuff Up
I don't know how true the reports are on this new admin. All I'll say is that in case he decides to repeat his own history here, keep your stuff backed up and make sure you can contact people outside of FA, even if it's just because of the next crash, DDOS or hacking attempt, regardless of who's responsible.
Also, I was reconsidering my decision not to post content here. FA does really seem to host the bulk of the furry fandom's communications and business. So when it goes down (when, not if) it's going to cause a lot of people trouble.
Stay safe, people. Always have a back-up. Time will tell if the new guy is worth bringing on or not.

FA+

Unless he manages to bork things up so bad that no one on the coding team is able to fix it again. Which would kill FA.
*shrugs* I dunno. I guess we'll see. But I'm reserving hope for other websites.
another things is that we only have to really worry about it when we know that the guy/girl is bluffying about his credecials and no one seems to be picking it up (web based prpgraming is way way different then local machine based programing, and I wish I had continued working on it but I couldnt stay in florida any more)
we need not worry about it much though. because furries never die, and just be cause the site went bad doesnt mean that the data stored in the site is bad too (likely would just be recoded server side rather then remotely if it gets that borked)
