Happened to me in elementary school. Loooong ago, but the stain remains.

Not quite, 'cause I'm always drawing with pen. But yeeeears ago in like second grade I was having a pencil sword fight with this guy, see, and he thought it'd be oh so funny to stab at me, and well... yeah.

No, but I've stabbed and cut myself enough to be considered an idiot. X3

*holds up a hand* Got one in my left calf from when I jumped on my bed and forgot I'd left my pencil there

It's like a badge of honor. You know someone is a devoted artist when you can ask to see theirs :D

I somehow managed to get one on the back of my hand near a knuckle.

The stains have faded, but I do have a few scars on my palms and forearms from pencils and pens. :P

Mine went pretty deep, was quite a struggle to get the broken off graphite tip back out. Lucky I did though D:

I'm curious. When you were little did you ever get told that if you get a sliver or something, that if you don't take it out it'll sink through and come out the other side? XD

oh dang XD I got two!
one right under my right thumb and another on the bottom side of my left thumb...
I remember either one of them was because I got bored while drawing in art class and I kept bouncing the pencil on it's eraser and then catching it in air.... but then I tried catching it too early and bam
(actually I think both of them happened like that XD; )

well i didn't get it on my hand i got it in my fingernail bed by thrusting my hand in my pocket and a couple of times in my leg also thanks to my pocket...OMG my pockets are trying to kill me ahhhhhhhhhhh!

Haha, right thight. Little bluish dot is still there from when I accidentally jammed my mechanical pencil into my leg. Ow. Badge o' honor.

I have a semicircle in my right palm from trying to do the Garth tazer thing from Wayne's World. With a pencil. The ink made a nice hole through my hand

In elementary school, I had a kid tattoo my leg with a pencil, TWICE, without my permission D:

He was forced to use crayons instead of pencils for the rest of the year for stabbing my leg twice. Other then that, not often. Normally the pencil keeps pointing down XD

One time in elementary school, I was playing with a pencil by bouncing the eraser on my desk. I lost my focus, and the sharp lead part of the pencil impaled the skin flap between my thumb and index. It didn't hurt too bad, but it looked disgusting XP

I have a small scar that I got when I dropped a knife on my hand...

I also has a birth mark that looks like a smiley face... but otherwise I don't have any tattoos... intentional or otherwise

been there done that... also stabbed myself with a calligraphy pen and had to squeeze out all the ink from my wound...blech

Ohh yeah. One time I had a sharpened pencil in my pocket and - somehow- the tip stabbed into my wrist and the tip broke under my skin. The way I was biting into my wrist trying to extract it, I must have looked crazed.

But the inadvertent damage I've done to my legs and hands with exacto knives and box cutters? Much, much greater. x3

During drawing, accidentally pieced a pencil -though- my hand.

I have a huge, huge chunk of graphite in my knee and a small one in my right palm :3

I accidentally stabbed myself in the hand with an Exacto knife. The cute was so clean, I had time to look clear down to the bottom before it filled up with blood.

I had a black dot on my thumb for the longest time from that once. I couldn't get it out before it healed over, but it eventually broke down on it's own.

I have a mark on my left index finger from... I'm not sure.

I do specifically remember waking up one day and going "Hm... That has never been there before", so I am lead to believe that it is one of these pencil scars...

My skin gets marks really easy but doesn't keep them for long x3 Like, I have the sort of skin that if you scratch an itch, you can see red scratch marks x3 not the thin skin broken kind, but I can basically write on my arm with my nails. :P

Then one time my back itched, and it was during the semester of gym where we had swimming, and someone was like OMG were you literally whipped? O.O

My hands are so badly damaged by this point, any marks that happen wind up just getting scared right over by a new injury within a few months, it seems like.

I work with my hands a lot, though; not just art, but building things and mechanical things and fixing peoples' cars things.

In 12th grade i accidentally stabbed myself with an ink quill pen with india ink.

Hurt like a motherfucker. Its now a nice tattoo on my arm.

I have a graphite dot in the flesh between my left thumb and index finger. I was rocking back and forth during my last-period class (art, incidentally) in 5th grade, tapping my mechanical pencil on the underside of the desk. I made a miscalculation during one rock and stabbed the drawing-sharpened lead about 3/16 of an inch into my hand. Hurt like hell at the time but didn't bleed too much, and now it's just part of my hand.

I have one just under my left eye nearly buried into the side of my nose. Friend of mine thought it would be funny to prop my mechanical pencil up under my face on the desk while I was nodding off, tip went right into the side of my nose. DX

It has happened to me on the palm side of my left hand near my index by a sharp pencil in middle school. Residue graphite can still be seen underneith the skin in that area to this day.

Did that in school once. Was tryin to write on my lap and the pencil was sharp enough to go thru several layers of paper and into my leg.

I have a permanent blue dot on my left palm.

If you see me without this blue dot, it is my evil clone. Destroy it!

Yes. First time I did it to myself back when I was in kindergarten. The pencil stabbed just about the joint of my right thumb and now I've got a pretty noticeable dot there. The second time from blindly rummaging through my binder in my algebra class in high school and well blasted thing ran right through my pointer finger on the same hand mentioned earlier. The spot just healed in a pretty messed up manner but it barely noticeable now.

I have a piece of graphite stuck in my finger.

I got into a grab-fight with a friend in elementary school where the tip of the pencil hit me in the chin and left a mark there. It's faded a bit, but still there.

They're gone now, but every time I go on huge drawing streaks, I get giant callus' on the sides of my fingers. :x I suppose that counts, kinda?

I have several art-related permanent marks on my body.

Accidental: A scar on my forehead where I was hit by a piece of marble while making a mosaic. A burn on my arm from a grinding stone, while I was making small brass sword for a statue.

Semi-accidental: While cleaning an air conditioner I got four parallel cut on my knuckles. I wondered what would happened if I poured india ink on the cuts... and yeah, the stain is still there 15 years later.

Intentional: I have tested ink or acid on my skin several times just to experiment.

I got the toe one too. Sister left her pencils on the carpet. That bled quite a bit, but no mark remains.

not the kind of badge i want but then again most of the stuff i do is with a knife and a spray can

My brother got stabbed in the arm with a colored pencil, and I'm pretty sure theres still a mark. Or a scar, it was pretty deep.

Not quite the same, but i got rather good at making fake stitches on my hands with ballpoint pen over red marker.

i got reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally reeeeeeeeeeeally mad at my best friend, so i stabbed him with a mechanical pencil in 7th or 8th grade in his arm.....he still has the scar from it =/

Does a scar where I sliced into my finger count? I was trying to sharpen a pencil with a knife ( bad idea kiddo's ) and would up at the ER with 5 stitchs

Can't remember exactly what I was using, but it went all the way through the webbing between my thumb and forefinger. This was, like, at least five years ago and I still have this tiny dot of skin that's smoother and newer looking than the rest.

I have a noticable black dot on the inside of my left hand middle finger. I don't remember when I got it...or how seeing how I'm right handed.
