So Draconis is out of the hospital and I wish him a speedy recovery. Most of you have probably already heard that, so I likely won't be posting anything new on that subject. I am sure that Keefur will keep us all well informed and up to date on his progress.
My next planned convention will be New Year's Furry Ball in Delaware, but until then I probably won't be getting out to any more conventions until the spring, especially if I am going to do Wild Nights in Oklahoma. I need to rebuild my PTO balance as I burned through a lot of it this fall for various reasons. I wouldn't mind doing Anthro New England, but I'll have to see how things play out.
I hope of you headed out to MFF in a couple weeks have a great time. I'll get out there one of these days.

Yeah, my PTO took a big hit this year, too.. And I'm having to look hard at what cons I will be attending in 2015 since AC doesn't fall across a holiday next year. Definitely planning on FWA, AC, MFM, Fangcon and a couple of day trips to some (relatively) local anime cons. I have a strange desire to go to BLFC, but that's going to depend on finances, PTO and workload.

Yeah, so far this year I have taken 207 hours of PTO. That's basically everything I had at the beginning of the year and probably more than half what I earned this year (Currently at 17 days/year.) I think that with some discipline I might be able to flex a lot of the cons I have planned and rebuild my balance. Thankfully my employer is really flexible and I could probably even flex a 5-day weekend without taking any PTO.

Unfortunately, my company doesn't do flex time, but does allow us to work extra during weeks we take PTO to help offset the hit. The nice thing is in one more year I get an extra week of PTO..
