Hunting is not a sport. In order for it to be a sport,.. both sites must know they're playing a game!!
got a call today from someone claiming to be from "Microsoft" saying that my computer was infected with a very serious virus.
Call me with an unavailable number, that was my first clue that that was a scam and then when he said that he was from "Microsoft" calling with a unavailable number I knew this was a scam before he said anything else.
Just letting you guys know that they are still out there and they are trying to get personal information don't give it to them, have been using Windows software sense OS 3.11 and I have never had Microsoft call me to tell me that my computer had a virus even when my computer had a virus..

It doesn't matter who it is or what they topic is - if someone calls you to ask for money, passwords, email addresses or account numbers, it's definitely a bad thing. I've been called be eBay, publisher's Clearing House, Microsoft, the police and fire departments, veterans and churches. All have one thing in common, and that is to separate you for your money or account info! If you wish to help a church, contact one and do it in person. If you wish to help the firemen, police or veterans, go and initiate it yourself by going to the appropriate place in person. If you didn't enter a sweepstakes, then you didn't win one! If a call is actually legit, then they'll have no problem with you hanging up and contacting them independently of the call from your end.
It's sad that anyone falls for these scams. Every time someone falls for it, the scammers make money, and someone loses. :(
Months ago, I got a sms, supposedly from my cellphone provider, telling me I won 15 million COP, naming a renamed tv channel and bank. Of course I never replied to that message, I inmediately call my cellphone provider and they told me it was a scam.
Those idiots (they think they are smart, but they aren't, they are making damage to everyone, that's not to be smart). trying to get some "easy money", use that kind of scams, thanks for publishing this, knowing how the kind of stuff they can do, we can be more cautious, to not to fall in this kind of traps
