I follow two people on Patreon, Jay Naylor and my ex; both are good examples of how to set up an effective donation level system. (Won't plug them here but will provide links if requested.) At some level, Patreon could be considered a type of 'pay what you want', writ large. Patrons choose at which level they wish to buy in, instead of an all-or-nothing monthly fee that often turns some people off. The user has control over their level of involvement, instead of vice versa. Rewards are proportionate to the level of buy-in. Here, I'll whip up an example.

$1/month: basic access to Patreon. Includes basic feed, blog entries, sketch work for upcoming productions.
$5/month: plus access to images from finished folios. Will be posted after donations clear each month to prevent douchebaggery. May also include sketches I'm not proud of.
$10/month: plus a voice in the direction of my next project. Subject to popular vote and artist whims and limits of course.
$25/month: limit 5-10 spots. One sketch commish, max blah blah limits, every month.

Your amounts and ideas will vary wildly of course, but you get the idea. And if someone doesn't want to pay for it, they get to see it here on FA-- two weeks later. Yes, its another thing for you to set up, so take some time and get your life back in order before you go about this. Feel free to bounce ideas off me if needed.

Hrmmmm I like your ideas. Maybe shift them down slightly or exclude the voice option since it's me n' Nyn's comic...Place a raffle for one sketch commission in there at a $2/month level with limited spots or something. All good ideas. This is REALLY helping. And yes, gabe, some semblance of normalcy is slowly returning. :)
