Subs take it up the butt
MEEEEEEEEE!!! Yep! You guessed it! Just when things were going so well, i check my bank statement and lo and behold! Someone managed to use my information to make $500+ for two purchases I did not authroize! WOO!!
What were those purchases you ask? $430 for Comcast! And I don't even deal with Comcast! I use Verizon for my ISP!
$120 for metro PCS, which I DO use as my cell phone provider, but I DON'T buy extras and I DID NOT upgrade my service plan at all! I typically pay $40 a month for my bill with them.
The hilarious part is the bank telling me that the purchases with made with my debit card, even though I never lost it! That means that either I got on a compromised site last time I did an online purchase or whatever card terminals used for card purchases at a store was rigged. My card is already closed before anymore damage could be done but...
...Why did this have to happen? Wasn't I careful enough? If I can't get the money back, I am beyond fucked. God help me...I can't stop crying over this...

You said you suspect it could either be a compromised site or a rigged card reader. Do you have any guesses as to which site or store?
I'm really sorry to hear that, that's shit. Hopefully they can trace through Comcast the douchebag who did this. At the very least, I hope your bank will cover the amount lost.
On a separate topic, as a thief, I've heard that you can basically walk through anywhere with the right tech and snag everyone's credit/debit card data wirelessly. I don't know how it works, but they're selling wallets now with built-in copper/steel grids to prevent you from having your info stolen.
Might have been what happened to you.
