When people are pushed too far, when they get no protection, no justice, when law and government is not on their side, when they are persecuted and oppressed at every turn with no punishment leveled against the police who brutalize, kill, rape, assault....you get a climate of fear, outrage and frustration. When you get pushed to that point, when nothing you say or do matters, people snap.

Even good people can be broken, and that is what has happened in Ferguson.

All of this is squarely to blame on the police and government, and an utter failure of law and justice.

What you see in Ferguson is people pushed too far, who in abject fear and frustration have lost control of themselves, in rage and grief.

If you got bullied and harassed and picked on day after day and authorities look the other way, or are the ones persecuting you, day after day, month after month, year after year, even you would break.

Of course you would believe police killing black people is admirable.
