I just saw that, and at first I thought it was a joke, because I was like, they haven't made a JP in ages... I thought maybe it was a ride. Then I watched it, and I thought maybe it was a reboot.

I'm definitely curious though! I'm looking forward to it.

It's not a reboot, it follows the other events. Keep in mind JP3 was 2001, so that means they had roughly 3 years to get the park into public-ready condition!

I've been following them for months and once I saw the trailer I was filled with so much excitement and joy.
I can't wait for the movie to actually come out. I LOVE Jurassic Park. Just thinking about makes me anxious ;3;

Seriously looking forward to this movie now.

RELEASE THE RAPTORS!

This is a cool idea for a new movie. I love the idea: "We've learned how to grow dinosaurs and now, with genetic manipulation, we can make our own dinosaurs. What could possibly go wrong?" :D

Though, I don't know why they can't just put the knowledge of genetic engineering to it's true potential to truly benefit mankind. Like letting us have sex with a dinosaur without fear of being ripped apart.

More Michael Crichton-esque anti-science disguised as action-adventure-horror.

Cool dinos or no cool dinos, frankly I'd rather see a movie like Big Hero 6, where the scientists actually know what they're doing -- like, um, most of the scientists I've met in real life.

If scientists always knew what they were doing, we would have no innovations :) That's why hypotheses exist. Granted, the people involved with Jurassic Park tend to overlook certain scientific reasoning in their R&D, but that's called conflict and drama, and is what makes for an interesting story, ESPECIALLY in science fiction. If it was science non-fiction, that would just be a documentary ;D

Knowing what you are doing as a scientist and understanding everything about what you are working with are different things. The former includes knowing to take measures to compensate for the lack of the latter. e.g. If you have a new creature, you place it in a enclosure that is physically impossible to escape from, (i.e. fully closed and all access through airlock passages that have no hiding spots), until you know what it can do.

And again, I'd like to point out that this is a fictional story where the point of the film is about mankind being so concerned about profit that they do not fully consider the consequences of their actions. It is a story. Designed to make you jump and be a little scared, and maybe make you think. Good stories always make you think.

oh no not another jurassic park movie again lol
but seems worth to watch, but not in a movie theater, btw iall go in the Hobbit 3 on the 27 of dec. cant wait to see it
