Happy Thanksgiving weekend to our American friends on the list! (even if you celebrate the holiday strangely late) :P
And now begins the crazy shopping rush that is the lead-up to the holidays, which I now guess I have to acknowledge as existing. Bleh. Anyone else absolutely dread this time of year?

1st pic: Duncan sure gets himself into weird situations when he's small. Maybe that's why he usually spends his time as a macro. :P Love the look in teasel's face in this one, and hey - we learned that he has very dexterous toes! 2nd pic: One very nice footpaw pre-stomp. I love the look on his face - it's like some boob (likely me) said "Can I see your paw!?" And this was his answer.

Because Charr. Athaina is a gorgeous charr character and this has to be one of the most detailed renditions of her ever! Love the details on the paw pads and toes.

An amazing take on the character Lazarus - this is one of the more detailed and aggressive versions I've seen of him, and also one with awesome detail on his footpaws. :)

I shall never tire of seeing Drip Dry. :3 Showing off her beautiful soles as her clothes struggle to contain post-Thanksgiving dinner Drip. I think they're gonna lose the struggle once she starts desert.

A young and super-talented artist in general, who also happens to draw spectacular footpaws! She draws a wide range of character types, and has great expressive faces and poses, and really puts some wonderful detail into the footpaws. While I have not personally commissioned her yet (though hope to), I have friends that have who have nothing but high praise for her. When asked about being the highlight for this mail, she said "Sure I don't mind at all ^^ <3".

Heh - well this is the one drawback of these things; any other folks in the group as into paws as you or I are will likely be watching these artists now too after a few weeks on this list! Long as it's helping some folks out, then it's done it's job. :) Seems there are new people joining it every week too.

At least a couple dozen - that's where some of the recent add-ons have been. For the journals, some watch either this or my Weasyl site, some choose to Bookmark and check on Tuesdays Fridays - that last one I only know about if the person tells me about it.

*chuckles* Guess so. I know for many, just trying to find the time to find good paw pics is hard, so they like the list as an easy way to keep up with them.

Yeah - getting better and better each year. I think it's a double factor; a) there is more paw-centric artists now, and b) even artists who are no paw-centric or into paws themselves seem to be realizing there is a significant number of furs enough that like paws to try to appeal to them. :)

i guess the simpler answer would be that there are simply more and more people joining the community, and therefore producing/helping to produce art. its not only more paw art but more general art too, and since its the biggest theme its just natural that its growing² :D

Aye, very true. 14 years ago, you could count the number of dedicated paw artists on one hand. :P
