May I ask what you tried?

Looking forward to seeing another fursuit head from you ^^

It wasn't so much trying something else, but I half-forgot that fur doesn't follow the same rules as normal fabric and it ended up too big for the head. D: And the shaving came out uneven as a result.

I dont' know if it'd be much help to suggest, but if you duct tape the head and use it as a pattern with handsewing, then slide it over the top of the head it usually ends up being a perfect fit. Also without glueing all the seams directly you wont run the chance of have random blobs sticking out of seams, I find it's better to just pop the glue gun nozzle with high strength glue under the fabric and pin it down once the faux fur is on the base. That's just me though ;; Whenever I've tried something else it has always messed up for me, it's all about finding what works best for you personally. I absolutely love the ears you did on cherry <3

I did do duct tape, I was just stupid and gave myself a ton of seam allowance. I was fine when I furred Cherry, I don't know why I decided to do things differently for the deer. Thank you though! :D <3
