Coward Montblanc Fan Lyrics

"How can something so enticing..."
Being in Japanese, most all J-pop songs need an English translation for fans who don't speak japanese to fully understand the song, unfortunately official translations can be few and far between and some songs have parts that simply don't translate. Most fans who decide to try to translate the song to English weather to understand it better or preform a Cover of the song, are left to their own interpretations of the song, and often write unofficial lyrics while keeping the theme of the song. This is my fan interpretation of one of my Favorite J-pop songs: Coward Montblanc
Of all of the things I believed in your eyes, of all of the things I lost in your lies, the thing that hurt the most, I can't say. Does it really have to be this way?
Who was it, may I ask, that's being loved? The way that is was, that time ago. Now you're gone, feelings die, memories fade, but what is this lingering empty feeling?
The reflection, seen in my mirror, is someone else's.
Even the truth won't set me free, I have become blind, I closed my heart to the world. I'm just a coward. A simple dessert would be sweet, even without you, because your lies don't work anymore.
Of all of the things I believed in your eyes, of all of the things I lost in your lies, the thing that hurt the most, I can't say. Does it really have to be this way?
Who was it, may I ask, that's being loved? The way that it was, that time ago. Now you're gone, feelings die, memories fade, but what is this lingering empty feeling?
Have I grown numb? My soul fails to respond to my own screams.
Try to forget and let go, I've been told, I know, but my heart won't move on. A simple dessert is bittersweet, even without you, I can't see my path ahead. That's right I've faded away, I know in my heart I can't stay, and because of that I have lost my way.
Even if I watch you die, it won't change a thing.
Even the truth won't set me free, I have become blind, I closed my heart to the world. A simple dessert would be sweet, even without you, because
I know it's the truth and it's so, and because of that I know I can finally begin to let go. So off from expected I conclude, It was all a mistake, it was all because I was a Cowardly Montbanc... Montblac...
You try to sway me your own way, but my will says I won't stay. If I had just one reply, I'd gasp for breath and not to sigh.
